Sebastian Vettel wins in Canada

Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel wins the Canadian Grand Prix, which means he retakes the championship lead. This was Sebastaian Vettel’s 50th career win and the third win of the season so far.

Vettel picked up his second career victory at Gillies Villeneuve and this was the first for Ferrari in Montreal since Micheal Schumacher since he won three in a row from 2002-2014.

Valtteri Bottas came second in his Mercedes, behind him was RedBull’s Max Verstappen and the other RedBull car Daniel Ricciardo who came fourth.

This race was Fernando Alonso’s 300th Formula Race. He sadly retired to the garage after 43 laps, this was his eight time that he has failed to finish a race at Gilles Villeneuve.

For Toro Rosso’s Brandon Hartley and the hometown favorite Lance Stroll, who collided with Brandon Hartley when heading into Turn 5.

Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen finished sixth, German Nico Hulkenberg came seventh ahead of his Renault team-mate Spaniard Carlos Sainz, Frenchman Esteban Ocon came ninth ,Charles Leclerc was the last driver in the points as he came tenth.
