Jamie Caroline took his ninth win of the year to extend his F4 British Championship points lead. The Pirtek-sponsored driver was once again unchallenged around theSnetterton circuit as his rivals struggled.
The reverse grid encounter was a real opportunity for Caroline to reignite his championship charge after a poor opening race saw him lose ground to Oscar Piastri. Starting second on the grid, Caroline was quickly into the lead at the first corner and broke away in the early stages.
Pole man, Manuel Sulaiman did not have the best of starts and dropped to third in the opening lap, behind Oliver York. Sulaiman would sadly throw away a promising result after spinning on the second lap, promoting the TRS Arden‘s behind.
Massaad’s spin had brought out the safety car, with Olli Caldwell also caught up in action further back. At the restart, Caroline wasted no time before breaking away in the opening few laps, allowing York to fend off Alex Quinn.
York would catch back up for a final attempt, but a failed move saw him drop a second to the leader as Caroline took his ninth win of the year. York and Quinn completed the podium behind.
Further back in the points, Logan Sargeantand Linus Lundqvist continued their race one shenanigans, with the Carlin driver coming out on top to take fourth. They were chased by the Arden’s with Ayrton Simmons and Piastri leading home the recovering Caldwell.
